Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Bricklayer to join our team on a full-time basis.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a hardworking and competent Bricklayer to carry out a variety of bricklaying and masonry duties on different construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality work in line with company standards and project requirements.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Bricklayer will be responsible for:
- Laying bricks, blocks and other building materials to construct or repair walls, foundations and structures
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans
- Measuring and cutting materials accurately
- Mixing mortar and other building materials
- Carrying out pointing, repairs and maintenance work
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines
- Working safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborating with site managers and other tradespeople
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Applicants should have:
- Proven experience as a Bricklayer in the construction industry
- Strong practical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read construction drawings and follow instructions
- Good physical fitness and ability to work on construction sites
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications in Bricklaying (desirable but not essential)
